Review: Tarte LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Tint in Hope

Hey everyone happy wednesday! Today I'm reviewing the Tarte LipSurgence in Hope that I got in the Sephora Give Me Some Lip lip sampler kit. When I first took the cap off of the lipstick I thought that it was going to be so dark and scary on me (a girl with very fair skin). I tried it on anyway and I LOVE it! The color is bold enough that I could distinctly see it on my lips but it didn't come out as BAM on my lips as it was in the tube. I thought that because the lipstick is matte and my lips are a little dry (due to the wintery air) that the lipstick wouldn't look good but it worked just fine on my lips. I one hundred percent recommend this product and I really want to try the LipSurgence Lip Tints in other colors as well.

Thank you all so much!

Review: Sephora Collection Glossy Gloss in Precious Pink

Hey everyone, happy Tuesday! Like I told you guys before, I went shopping on Black Friday and I picked up the Give Me Some Lip lip sampler from Sephora and I thought it would be fun and hopefully helpful to some of you to do a review on each product. As you can probably tell from the title I'm going to review the Sephora Collection gloss in Precious Pink. In the tube the gloss looks like a very sparkly baby pink. However when you put it on your lips it sheers out so much that it basically looks clear. It's a pretty sticky gloss but even so it doesn't last that long on the lips. I'm glad I got it because I've never bought a Sephora lipgloss and I really wanted to but now that I know what they are really like I might not do that. But it's only the first that I've tried...for all I know I got a bad one and the Sephora glosses are actually really good. I'll have to try out some more and do some reviews for you guys! If you've got a little sister or a young niece or some younger girl who would like her first lipgloss I think this would be perfect because it's pretty, pink, yet very age appropriate for younger girls.

Thank you all so much!

Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and more!

Hey everyone! Due to the holidays and my crazy schedule I've definitely not been the best with posting but now that Thanksgiving is over I'm sure I'll have more time. I hope you all had a very nice day stuffing your faces with family and friends...I know I did haha! Anyway since it was black friday and Christmas is coming up I went shoping and boy did I get lucky. I find that most times when I'm shopping I don't find that much that I like or everything is over priced or something like that so I don't end up with much. However on friday and yesterday I totally lucked out! I did some shopping for my mom, my dad, and myself. For my mom I went to Crate and Barrel and bought her these two candles she's been wanting. For my dad I bought him a gift card to Joseph A. Bank and aslo some athletic socks because he was in desperate need of both of them. Next I have my brother. I know one thing that he wants and I can't wait to get it for him. I also picked up a few things for myself from sephora, victoria's secret, and target. From sephora a got the Give Me Some Lip Lip Sampler with a Bite lip shine in vintage, a fresh sugar rose tinted lip treatment, an hourglass extreme sheen high shine lip gloss in child, a laura mercier lip glace in baby doll, a sephora collection glossy gloss in precious pink, and a tarte lipsurgence natural matte lip tint in hope. Seriously I was so happy when I got all these products for only $25. Crazy right?! At victoria's secret I got a pair of full length leggings for about $20 and I LOVE them. They are soo comfortable. For any victoria's secret/ pink lovers you get a free pink dog with any pink purchase. Finally at target I got a deodorant, a garnier fructis fortifying shampoo and conditioner, a covergirl lashblast fusion (my fav), a neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub, and the ausie 3 minute miracle (seriously a miracle)! Wow that was a long post...but I'll try and review all of my products and tell you how all of them are.

Thank you all so much!

Shopping!

How's it going everyone? Good I hope! I'm so excited because I might be going shopping tomorrow if there's nothing on the schedule and I'm super excited because I haven't gone shopping in the longest time. I myself find it weird that I get so excited to go shopping but I really do I can't explain it. When I was younger I never used to go shopping...like ever! Maybe once or twice a year. Now I make a point to go at least four times a year. Now I know to some girls that's nothing but it's also a lot to some. I really try to be frugal with my money and save it up because I work hard for it and I know I shouldn't just blow it all on makeup and jewelry and clothes but I think doing that four, maybe five times a year is acceptable...don't you? Anyway I plan on going to Target and maybe a couple other stores but I want to check out any new makeup products they have. Any suggestions? Makeup or otherwise I would love to hear what you guys have buying and loving at Target.

Thank you all so much!

CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion!

Hey guys! As you all know the weather is getting pretty bad out there. There's tons of rain, wind, snow and all the moisture in the air has gone. For me when the weather gets like this my skin gets dry as a bone and really ashy. Yesterday, someone at school was nice enough to mention that my hands looked old and disgusting! That was because they were so super dry due to the harsh conditions outside. But that was yesterday. Today my hands look like new and it's all due to CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion! This stuff is a miracle product. I'm serious you guys if you have the same problem I had then you need to try this lotion. The difference just from yesterday to today is amazing and I'm well, amazed. I will continue to use this product forever and ever!

Thank you all so much!

October Favorites!

Yes I know I know... It's already November 7th and I'm just now doing my October favorites but you know what...I'm gonna do it anyway :)
Here's a list of my October favorites that I think all of you should try out!
1. Elf eyelid primer: this stuff works so well. Because it's so cheap and well, from elf (eyes lips face) I didn't expect much but it totally works. My eyeshadow lasts all day without creasing, smudging, or running. It's $1 and you can get it at Target and I believe Walgreens.
2. Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara: Amazing! I think this may be my favorite mascara that I've ever tried. It doesn't clump or anything. I have oily eyelids so mascara always bleeds onto my eyelids but not with this mascara. It makes my lashes long and full and beautiful.
3. Bath and Body Works PocketBacs: I really love these things because they smell so great and you can get them on sale a lot of the time for good deals. Right now I'm using Japanese Cherry Blossom and I recommend it to everyone who likes fresh clean yet also a little floral scents.
4. NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny: This stuff is really cheap but it works so well. However I am fair skinned so if you have tan to dark skin then this won't work for you because the bronzer isn't that dark.
5. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder: This stuff is cheap and provides a light coverage on top of foundation and concealer. As for shine control (which it claims to have) I think it works but only really for 45 minutes to an hour more than if I used a regular non-shine control powder.
6. Elf Blush Brush: I LOVE this brush. It's only three dollars and it has never shed a hair. I use it for bronzer and blush.
7. Covergirl TruShine Lipstick in 415: This is a really pretty berry/ wine color very on trend for this fall. It can be applied sheer or built up to a higher pigmentation.
8. Original Phillip's Milk of Magnesia: totally helps with oil control! If you have oily skin then you need to get some of this. All you need is a little bit just enough to cover your face and then apply your foundation, concealer, etc. and you're good to go. Hours free of shine!

I hope this was helpful to all of you! If you have any suggestions on what products I should try out then please tell me :)

Introduction

Hey everyone out there!
Welcome to post one of my very new blog. I'm so excited to be doing this because it's been a dream of mine to get my reviews and ideas out to the world and now I'm doing it! What I plan to do with this blog is review products and give some feedback on fashion and beauty. If you couldn't tell already I'm very interested in cosmetics and clothing and all things girly which (for me) is very strange because I feel I'm sort of a tom boy. This obsession with clothing and makeup started about a year ago when I started getting interested in wearing more makeup and updating my wardrobe. I researched online for tips and tricks for makeup and clothing ideas and that was when I found the Youtube beauty community. I don't think I've ever been more obsessed with anything in my life so far. I can't describe the feeling. Watching and learning and even thinking about beauty and fashion in my life to come is exciting and terrifying all at once. I love it! What I really want this blog to do is help all of you! If you have a question related to beauty or fashion then please ask. Now keep in mind that I am still quite new to this but I'm so excited to be doing it nonetheless. Please, if you know of anyone who is interested in beauty or fashion please tell them about me. I don't know if I'm going to post very often but I'm excited to see where this blog takes me.
Thank you all so much!
